In Nigerian interiors the enemy of a wall is not sunlight, it is washing. Matt finishes mark more easily than satin, so keep them for rooms that are not constantly wiped down. For kitchens, corridors and children’s rooms, look at Prestige Satin Finish instead.

Matt walls are the easiest to touch up later. A small brush and the same tin will blend into the surrounding wall, which is not true of gloss or satin.
